1. Safing the land

The first situation begins with Rosa and Perry, the couple, they need money to process of paying weekly fees for mortgaging their land. They have suspended the payment for two month and the bank has sent them the warning letter. Drought breaks the farm in their place and only tomatoes last. There will be overstock of tomatoes on the market so that the price will sharply decrease. Rosa and Perry will not earn enough money to pay the weekly fees policies for the land from their harvest.
Mr. Charlie comes and offer Rosa and Perry to let him pay the mortgage to the bank. Rosa knows exactly that if they let Mr. Charlie pay the mortgage they will never get back the land. They will have to sharecrop for the rest of their life because they will only make to pay the interest of the payment to Mr. Charlie. Rosa tries hardly to refuse the offer, although Perry seems a bit interested.
Rosa asks Leroy to bring Mr. Morgan to their home. She secretly arranges a plan to safe the land. Once Mr. Morgan comes, she makes a negotiation with him about her funeral plan. She finds out that her life will not last any longer so that she tries to safe the land with her insurance life. She tries to bargain her funeral cost so that the rest of the money from the insurance can be used to pay the mortgage to the bank.
Rosa successfully safes the land because she uses her insurance life as the payment for the mortgage.
2. Mr. Charlie wants to pay the mortgage of the land

Many people cannot afford to pay the mortgage of their land to the bank. Mr. Charlie use the chance to claims the lands. He offer helps by making them let him pay the mortgage of their lands with tho condition of sharecrops, but then he puts a very high interest on the payment that people cannot buy back their lands.
Mr. Charlie visits Rosa and Perry to offer them to let him pay the mortgage of their land to the bank. Mr. Charlie negotiate cunningly that both Perry and Leroy seem interested in the offer. But Rosa hold on keeping the land. She refuses the offer and ask her husband not to accept it.
Rosa defending the land and stopping her husband from letting Mr. Charlie to pay the mortgage to the bank.
3. Hiding disease.

Perry finds out from the doctor that Rosa gets a tumor in her abdomen and her life will soon end. He does not want her to find out about this because he does not have the heart to see her response.
Perry tries to cover the fact to avoid his wife from knowing her real health condition. He tells Leroy not to tell about the disease to Rosa. They act normally as there is nothing wrong with her. But Perry fails to hide the fact because he acts nervously so that it attracts Rosa’s suspicion that there is something wrong with her health.
At the end Rosa knows the truth about her own disease.
4. Meeting Mr. Morgan

Banks is about to foreclose the land of Rosa and Perry due to two month unfulfilled mortgage payment. Rosa has a plan to solve the problem. She asks Leroy to bring Mr. Morgan to home.
Mr. Morgan is a busy man for his business, there is no other obstacle obstructing Leroy to bring Mr. Morgan to meet Rosa except that.
Finally, Leroy can comes home with Mr. Morgan alongside him with no significant obstruction. And Rosa succesfully meets Mr. Morgan.
